General Overview

The Air Force Small Business Industry Days (SBID) provide benefit by creating partnerships and increasing small business participation. The Air Force SBIDs focus on small business capabilities and opportunities, matching stakeholders from the Armament PEO, large business, and small business communities. This event emphasizes small business capabilities that provide new concepts, highlight existing small business products, promote collaboration, and integrate small businesses’ services, products, and technologies into AFLCMC's normal way of doing business.

The 2014 Armament Small Business Industry Day (SBID) takes place July 29-30, 2014, in Miramar Beach, FL, with a combination of informational briefings and speakers, as well as one-on-ones between small businesses and government POCs. This event focuses on establishing new small business suppliers, as well as matching program office technology based needs to SBIR/STTR/RIF developed technologies that accelerate transition onto platforms.

This is a unique 3 Track Event:

Track 1 - Products:
Identifies small business products with potential applicability to the Air Force.
Track 2 - Market Research:
Identifies business opportunities that small businesses are capable of being the prime contractor.
Track 3 - SBIR/STTR Transition:
Links the Air Force customer defined needs with SBIR/STTR technologies.
